Gold Mine!

So they're ripping the insulation off the roof, right? To make way for the new roof, yes?

There are literally small mountains of this strange sheet foam insulation laying outside my window at work.
And after a week of staring at the stuff, I have figured out what I can do with it.
I have to go out and poke at it, to see how dense it is, but from what I can see, it'll make beautiful archery targets.
Looks about 3/4' square, and of varying thickness. Most about looks about 4" thick. Strap a couple of those puppies together, and I'm betting we'll have some arrow stopping power.

And trust me, there's enough for all out there. Maybe not enough for the entire East Kingdom, but a lot.
I'll give you directions if you also want to do something with the stuff. They're just going to throw it away anyway.

So ok, another little rant.

.. last night, all I wanted was a walk. It was twilight-y, getting dark, (one of my favorite times,) so I took Cervantes with me, as it's not smart to walk alone at night in 'Burg.
I wanted a walk, not a dime-store psycho-analization. Too much nervous energy to stay in the house.
Just for the record:
1. The living arrangement sucks, but I can't complain. I'm not paying.
2a. No, I'm not happy. You're right. Not much of anything I do lately makes me happy. Amuses me, yes; really blissfully happy, no.
2b. And no, I don't know what to do about it. If I did, I would do it.
3. No, I can't stop trying to make other people happy. I'm convinced that if I make enough people happy, what goes around, comes around. Stop telling me to stop doing what comes to me more naturally than breatheing.

All I wanted was a walk. Maybe next time I'll just take myself for a walk.
Going to the auction. Have promised Bleys a pony. Will see what I can do.
