I have a little widget on my computer. it is a list widget. I made a list at the beginning of last year of all the things I wanted/needed to get done.
Personal Website:
After much growing pains, and trying out a number of services, I landed on Godaddy to buy my domain, and www.squarespace.com for design/hosting.
It's not the most spectacular site in the world, but it's functional.
Knights wedding:
Designed it and got it out the door. (3 times reprint due to a bad client.)
Czubryt wedding:
Designed it, assembled it and got it out the door. Everyone was happy.
Motorcycle class:
Got all the stuff, did it, passed it. Got my "I did it!" card.
Against my better judgement, bought a bike. This will roll into this year's list - Will have a MAKE IT GO party in the spring.
Medical:
Had all my regularly sceduled app'ts, plus an eye exam (so as to be safe for the M'cycle class). Also had a battery of blood tests taken, for among other reasons, the rampant arthitis in my feet. They are reasonably confident that it's not rhumatoid, and very likely NOT ALS. Just plan old "Hey, idiot, you've abused me and let horses step on me alot" arthritis.
Had dental work done - will roll getting that piss-poor job fixed into the new year
Pennsic:
Drove myself out this year for the first time ever (I'm usually Midevalbook's driver.) Got the time off and did it. Lived for a week in the circus tent, and quite sucessfully.
Ag class:
Took it, passed it, got the little certificate saying I have a clue about how hard it is to be a sucessful farmer.
Got farm to buy new fenceposts for doing the perimeter fence, and invested, with HorseChaser and Dad, in 2 head of bred Polled Hereford Cows. (One came with a calf, so in the end, we should get 5 for the price of 2.)

And with the close of that list I will begin a new one. Likely a little more sparse with the sudden influx of SCA events I'll be attending, but I guess it's good for me to have a list.
Things that will be added:
Get M'cycle running and likely sold (carry over)
Find ATV for farm
Get dental fixed (pseudo carry-over)
Firearms class - Get FID or the like
Heavy list kit assembled and qual'd (carry over)
Haul out spare room and make functional
Events, omg the events
Pennsic
