Went and started the ball rolling. Got the lovely Dr. O'Brien looking into Galway as my tenative internship site. She highly recommends it, and is doing some digging while I get her my resume.
Hrmph. This may actually work. I don't know if I've ever considered it actually working. Things like just don't work for me usually.

In other news, my car in fact did not get towed, and the lot I'm parked in does have the wrong sign posted, so all is happy in Whoville.
Had a little fresh-thing come and try to tell me that my loft was illegal. I explaned that it had been engineered with my utmost safety in mind, that it was built by a construction-working friend, and that he should take his little petition and go. Away.
Hhrrmmph. Off to my appointment now to see if this shoulder thing can be ironed out.
Got my Centaur Forge catalog in while at home. Mmmmm... hammers, and barstock, and leg vices, oh my! And I get free shipping on anything 500 lbs or more!
