I believe in basic human rights - that as a woman, that what's best for my body is between me and my god.
That said, I believe in the sanctity of life, and that children are a wonderful thing. Especially when I can give them back to their parents.

I believe that people with no criminal record should be allowed to own firearms. Many of them, if they so desire, long as they do it safely. And should they cap themselves, it's their own damn fault.

I believe in the light, clean smell of a man fresh from the shower, and believe someone out there has the perfect curve to his shoulder where I can lean my head.

I believe that we are all equal, until you do something to fuck it up. Then you're a dumbass until you prove otherwise. The color of your complexion doesn't make you more or less a dumbass, your actions do.

I believe in banana nut waffles with maple syrup, tomatoes fresh from the garden, a good rare steak, and the freedom to grow what I need to make all of the above.

I believe in the promise of the earth. That with the right tending and gentling, she'll take care of you. You might just have to learn to enjoy lima beans, if that's what she'll give you.

I believe that what goes on in your bedroom is your business. That what goes on in my bedroom is my business. And that's it's likely ne'r the two shall meet.

I believe that baked goods are a token of love, and that the smell of fresh baked bread can make anyone's day better. That a closet full of preserves are bottled joy, and that being prepared is the best course of prevention.

I believe in leasurely waking up to the sound of rain and the warm curves of a partner, and having no where else to be.

I believe in my dog, because he's always excited to see me, never asks for money, and works for balls. I know that I will outlive him, and that he will teach me a greater depth of love someday. I believe that this type of relationship is one that everyone should experience, at least once.

I believe that I don't know everything, and never will, but will strive to learn more. And should I learn something that contradicts a past learning, I shall weigh and adjust accordingly.

I believe in my God. It's not your god, (or your god,) it's my God. And though my God be a rightious and terrible God, my God loves everyone, damn it. Republican, Democrat, gay, straight, Hatfield, McCoy, Muslim, Hindu, Furry, Missionary, my God doesn't give two shits as long as you've attempted to be a decent human being.

I believe in my self, and I believe in you.
Mostly, I trust us all not to fuck up too much, or too badly.

So don't fuck up.
