Wednesday would have been my grandmother's 94th birthday.
I was sitting at work, listening to an interview on NPR of a woman who's written a book about how the wedding industry has gone insane, and the traditional organ-heavy Wedding March geared up as their bumper music.
It hit me that my grandmother will never see my wedding.
And it's just made me horribly sad.

She'll be there for you. I know mine was, along with my godmother and Gregg and both of Himself's parents. (In our case, all of them were probably muttering "About damn time.")
