Really tired of the "lack of personal space" recognition that my "team members" have.
I admit, I've got a rather lage personal space, but it's really, really annoying to have a team member lurking less than 10" away from me in my already cramped cube, stuffed full of shit for her meeting, which I've been told I can't assemble, (thus freeing my cube from this event's slimy, dissappointing grasp) because I'm too valulable to be doing manual work.
Never mind all this crap is driving me absolutly banannas, and when someone else fucks it up, I'm going to catch hell.
Not a brillant choice to start my "Monday" by walking in an hour late and then getting all wound up in your unorganizedness and taking it out on me. I've got my process - you want to do my job, fine, go get the degree and do my job, but Please, for the Love of DOGS, Leave me alone to do my job, and STOP talking to my vendors behind my back.

Date: 2007-02-20 04:21 pm (UTC)From:sounds like you need to call a meeting and discuss "process"
i always start by asking them where they think the hiccups are in the process. . .and how they think it shoudl work.
then i educate them on how my part fits in, and sure i can mangle it to fit your plan, but once we set that plan into being a process, you *HAVE* to do exactly what you said you'd do, when you said you'd do it and how. and when they can't follow even their own plan, we have another meeting and i lay down the law and use their follies as my how's and why's
it's a long process. . but it settles in eventually!

Or you could build a no-contact jacket ( http://no-contact.com/ )
and conduct some behavior modification sessions.
