It's cold and wet out. I'm sitting, snuggly, watching the stupid box with Dog draped across my feet. The cats have conceeded the first floor to the pooch, and are plotting their counter attack from the second floor. Dog is visiting - His Mom is at Radiant this weekend, and he needed company, so we went on a field trip to The Man's house.
The Man is still lounging about upstairs - niether one of us have much energy to get much done, though there's stuff to be done. Did the dishes with The Man's help, folded a load of towels, and tossed in a second load. I'd like to vaccum, but that would be loud and.. loud. I'd like to bake something, but really, neither The Man nor I need any more Baked goods right now.
I should start the Emanual Lutherian Church Association website, but I have absolutely no desire.
I'm ready for a real job. A 9-5, leave my work at work, schedule vacations, afford a new car job.
I don't know if Bose is the right place for that, but I'll give it a shot.
And maybe get health insurance along the way.
Dog is spralled across my feet, nice and warm, doing the twichy, chasing bunnies in his dreams dance.
There is tea in my future, and maybe a call to the Crones or the Perries to see what they're up to this evening.
Or maybe not, and I'll just snuggle here with The Man and the Dog, and watch the river and the world go by.
I need to get me one of these furry footwarmers.
