Pennsic Travel Plans:
(as far as I know)

I shall be kissing my love goodbye at Ass-Crack O'Clock on the 5th.
There will be lots of driving. We will stop when we stop, sleep when we sleep, and continue the next day.

We will arrive on the 6th when we arrive on the 6th.

I really love the fact that we can track packages online now.
My tent went from TN, to VA, to CT, and is now in Shrewsbury. Yay!

Stuff and sizes...

So that you know - I will have:

the tent (approx 1' x 1' x 4', according to seller)

a sleeping bag (it's a pain in the ass - it's reall big and doesn't roll very well, but we can un-roll it and spread it out over stuff.)

1 big rubbermaid bin (clothes) (typical big bin size)

1 small rubbermaid-type bin (sundries) (typical fit-under-the bed size)

1 backpack (for traveling stuff, mundane clothes, food stuff, extra shoes, etc) (typical back pack size)

I will also have a milk crate of party goods (yea, booze,) I'm donating to Clann, but I'll see if someone else could transport it since space will be an issue.)

I can't think of anything else right now... A few things I'm going to pick up in PN (a cot, for instance) so as to cut down on stuff.


Let me know if space is going to be a big issue, and I'll see if I can find it some alternative rides.

The hootch will not be a problem. Had no idea what the tent would pack down to...that was the main concern. The poles must be breakdownable which be real cool, that was also a minor concern. The rubbermaids will fit in well with mine.
Looks like spacewise we will be ok, even if you bring extra stuff. Will check with Kendrick to make sure.
Tis always interesting when I have someone different going down than I usually have...folks have diff amounts of stuff plus items that are really bulky that take up lots of room - you stuff doesn't take up alot a room so all should be ok.
