If I'm roasting punkin with the intent of making it into squished punkin, for use in rescipies, or say, feeding to my dog to keep his insides healthy, is there a reason why I'd strain it rather than just hitting it with my immersion blender? Particularly if it was clean to begin with? (Ie, I took the seads and guts out before roasting?)
Inquiring minds and all that.
