Well, shit.
I forgot to pack one very important thing that is left langishing in the fields of PA until I can get back to pick it up again.
That one important thing?
Whatever was left of my brains.

Sitting here, in a cube, in front of my superhooperwonky futurebox feels wierd. The TV is harsh and abrasive to my ear. I have to sleep with the fan on and the windows open so I can catch road noise.

It was the Longest Short Week ever. A week of contradiction. At points it seemed to drag on forever (monday on the Battlefield, in the sun, and Thursday at Herald's Point, more on that later.) At the same time I didn't get nearly enough crammed in (never got up to Darrowstar, never found Alysone.)

I was engaged. I was in the moment. I was going to classes, attempting to learn things, problem solving and living. I was walking everywhere short of the one town run I did for camp. I lost 3 lbs. I cooked and it didn't suck, (though next time, I'll be less efficient at wrapping the roasts.)
I made freinds and met people and re-met people. I watered the fighters. I admired their stories. I shed a tear at an appropriate moment. I was almost married off to Port Tortuga, but then it wasn't necessary. I was taught how to buy rattan. (There's more to it than one thinks, apparently.)
I got a name and device in the works to be registered. I loped through the merchants booths and bought way too much honey (6 different varietals for the win! http://www.beefolks.com/.) I bought tea and spices and a "Moose Rampant" mug.
At times I was moody and cranky but at others I ate and I hugged and I laughed until my sides were sore. I visited friends and shared beer. I played with the baby. I chatted quiet chats around cracking fires. I was filty and tired, I was dressed like a real girl and felt beautiful. I was cold and lonely, and warm and snuggly.
I walked with a Grandfather and listened close to his wisdom, and marveled at the dreams and ideas that he and his lovely wife still share. I made appropriate appreciative noises at the fresh cinnomon buns, and cardamon cookies.

I thought fondly of absent friends. I watched the viking ship burn and sink under a orange-red full moon, and said a prayer for those we have lost. I held tight and let other weep around me.

I hauled and I packed and I reveled in how well we can all come together.

Now... I pack it away in a little velvet lined box in my heart and start fleshing out the logistics for upcoming events.

Off on a town run,

Things I must now get done:
Collect and send pieces of Knights wedding invite to Bride.
Get final OK and get Czubryt wedding invite printed.
Get a few more concepts of Dragon logo ready and out.
Get part and reassemble Lil' Red before I have to prime her for Winter.
Finish Blanket of Potholders.
Bake and freeze Zucchini Bread. (it is that season!)
