For those playing the home game...

Work continues to go well. Tiring, but well. I was pleasently surprised today to find out that I do indeed have the day after thanksgiving off, and the entire week after christmas! Of course, if I'm not working, I'm not getting paid, so it's kind of a suck situation, but I get enforced time off, and that's awesome.

Citgo goes away tomorrow. Very far away. I'm rationally aware that he'll be fine, but the hormones are singing a different tune. Stupid phat.


I became irrationally afraid that HorseChaser was going to do something dumb to herself today. HorseChaser's going through an exceptionally rough patch lately, and really has no peer-aged friends left. Everyone she counted as close friends has gone psycho, or has moved on with life and left the head case behind. There's nothing I can say or do to make anything better.
*sigh*
There was nothing I could do, being at work, so I dropped her a text message and was much relieved to get one in return. I gave her a call and am even more relieved to hear she's having a better day.

I hope Citgo gets home soon. I'm suddenly very aware that I'm going to be very alone for the next week and a half.
