meh.

Hrmm. Birka this weekend.

Since my best Birkas are one in which I walk in with big fat 0 expectations, so I shall sally forth into this one as well.

Might peal some tape off the helmet in preparation, but beyond that, I'm not stressing out over it.

Only think I'm actively in the market for is gauntlets that don't suck. We shall see if anything pans out.

I think I am with you here. I have slightly higher expectations, but not much:

- Fence All The Pickups Available, Capital Letters.
- Wander through the bear pits when bored, with no investment in the tourney.
- Wander through shopping area, look at things I want to look at, consider purchase of a twohander if one appears in a ray of heavenly light.
- Purchase margaritas from bar, post-court.

I think this will make for a Satisfying Birka Experience. :D

Question for a little further: are you going to K&Q A&S?
(Trying to figure out if I pack the stuff I have for you for that trip)

I will not be, no. Birka and then Winter War, then maybe Mudthaw, and then Decoronation.

OK, then I'll aim for Mudthaw or scadian express :)

Please stop by my booth to take a look at those Atlas Polskich magazines I told you about :)

Bokalo solid gauntlets
$65 each 130 for the pair way reasonable

Yea, I've tried him. (my arms and shoulders are made by him too, love his stuff.) I have a set of his Cat's Ass in Stainless. They just don't fit my hand right. I wind up gripping the polearm with my fingers - it doesn't seat back in my palm. at all. :(

Have you talked to Bokalo about it? Asked him to have his wife try the gauntlets on? Her hands are a lot like yours, and Bokalo himself likes fighting pole, it's one of his best weapons forms.
