I give.
I've made it 7 months without, and if I had my days to myself, I'd continue to ignore it, but I crave the technology of the microwave.
The magical box that through the power of science (SCIENCE!) makes food hot and metal sparkly.

Want. If only to nuke a cup of bloody cider in the morning.

Anyone have an extra (functional one) in the basement or crawlspace doing nothing? I promise to give it a good home...

FREECYCLE!!!!

it's a yahoo group, and there has to be one near you. People clean out their garages and the like, and give stuff away on it. The good stuff goes quick, though, so I'd suggest a 'wanted' post. I got a canoe off there by asking if anybody had one kicking around they didn't want anymore...

But doesn't LJ do the same thing? ;)

We will have one available very soon if you don't find another. It's pretty new (a year or so?) on the smaller side but fits a full plate, has the go-around thingy in it, in white.

I'd say we won't need it as of december-ish, but exact date not yet known. =)

Yea gods the apocalypse is comming, two posts in one day.
There is a nice little microwave waiting here for pickup or delivery next time I'm in the area. 600watts with a carousel, 1040 MHz or some such it claims.
Give a call and something will be arranged.
