Question

Anyone have a decent sized "weekend" tent I can borrow over Mem day?

Must handle me, guest and Mr. Dog out at War of the Roses.

Let me know, eh?
I either have TinyTent (good for me and Dog, too snug for me, Dog, and Guest)
or GINORMOUS TENT (which is pain in the arse for just a weekend.)

Stoping by folks house tonight. Will check, what do you consider tiny tent? 2-man? 4-man?

Two not-significant people and one dog - so... Something you'd be comfortable sharing with Jesaih.
I'm seeing about Adian's tent - hold off for just now, I won't need it until Mem Day weekend.

THanks!

I may have a generic 5 person dome tent I can scrounge up.

I'm going to see about Aidan's - but I'll keep you in mind! Won't need it until Mem. Day weekend.

/e points to Lumric's response.

I think we are thinking of the same tent. :)

You are welcome to borrow our weekend period tent. Single Bell Wedge. A tub of canvas and 3 poles.

[identity profile] kragore.livejournal.com 2008-04-30 09:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Will the poles fit in the CRV?

They fit in our CRV :) As long as you do not mind them on the dash board. Otherwise, they can go on the roof easily, assuming a roof rack.

No roof rack, but I have no problem with them being to the dash. :)
I'll have to arrange to come out and pick it up before then...

No problem, just drop us a line closer the event.

Looks like I lost a week between the time I talked to you about tent, and well, the weekend of the event.
I'm going to make do with what I have - But thanks for the offer! :)

Definitely. We sometimes take this tent in the Jetta. That's why it is our weekend tent. It is definitely cozy inside, but much better than a nylon tent. And others have used it for a whole week of Pennsic with two people living inside.

I can dig out & dust off my 5-person tent. Problem is, I'm allergic to dogs. Could you just shake it out after using if you borrow it?

I think I'm going to opt for the Aidian's period canvas, if I can fit it in my car.
If that (for whatever reason) doesn't work out, I'll keep you in mind. Thanks!
