Going to find where all the rum's gone...

Tomorrow at 6:30 AM a car will pick me up and bring me to Logan.
From there I fly to San Juan. I will then proceed to the "offical" taxi counter and request a taxi to the Ritz-Carlton. From there, I deliver a stack of agendas and misc. stuff to LeBossLady.
Then I relax. Or something.


I'm not used to business travel. I'm used to SCA and LARP travel. This meant I had to go out and buy clothes and shoes appropriate for said business meeting. (There are no summer clothes or shoes left in the stores, btw.)

I did manage to scrape up about 4 different mix and matchable outfits. I bought 3 pairs of shoes because I didn't like any of them, and I'm not conviced one of them fits. I'll return that pair when I get back. Meanwhile I'm stuck with 2 other pairs of shoes I don't really like, but will have to do.

I only want to take a carry-on, (hate the idea of being parted from my stuff,) so I've packed:
x 4 pairs of linen capri pants (I dislike capri pants, (same way I dislike 3/4 sleeves), but it's all that was left for summer clothes.)
x 6 tops and/or coordinating tank tops.
x 1 pair PJs.
x 7 pairs socks
x 7 pairs underthings
x 1 bathing suit
x 1 pair shorts
x 2 t-shirts
x 2 sets of shoes
x 1 water proof windbreaker
x 1 mini-maglite
x 1 bottle of Alive
x 1 copy of Catch-22
x Camera + extra batteries/mem card
x noise-cancelling headphones
x cell phone charger

Things left to pack before 6:30 am tomorrow morning:
x phone
x appropriate drugs
x toothbrush
hair bruch
x toothpaste
x face cream
x Passport
x travel itinerary printout from the travel people

Tonight:
x Stop at bank, get out traveling money.
x Get travel sized hygene stuff so I don't cause undue delays at the airport (Does solid deoderant fall into the "under 3oz" clause?)
x Walk dog
Get out clothes for traveling and put aside
Shower
Set alarm for 5:30
Paint toenails, (since I'll have to wear the horrible ugly not-quite-sandles, might as well have fun)
x Watch Heros with a big glass of club soda and Bailey's Irish Cream. (And probably Mr. McWoofyPants sitting on one foot.)
