Bags are packed for FL. Emergency Clothes set out to be slipped into Laptop bag tonight. Traveling clothes laid out so I don't have to think at 4 am. Carry on materials packed.
iPod loaded up with a couple movies and music. Gifted myself with some Cash and Alabama for the trip. Mr Cash makes for good travelin' music. Downloaded last night's Castle and have the first few episodes of Game of Thrones to entertain me on the laptop. Have spare batteries for headphones. Will pick up a traveling book at the airport.
Have to pick up and pack poster putty for a specific banner and emergency SuperGlue. (I never travel without it after that incident in Mexico.) Might throw in some duct tape just for grins.
Files that need minding while I'm gone are being packaged and zipped down to the desktop at we speak, and backups being copied to DropBox.
Clients contacted and they are only a little anxious. They haven't blown themselves up yet, so this is good. But their level of anxiety bodes evil for the rest of the week.
Red Albatross refuses to run, even with spanking new charged battery. I'm sure it will bother Meta while I'm gone.
Got a call from the police yesterday - my pistol permit's in, and they are mailing it to me.
Gotta remember to pack my passport.
