1) Passed Ag class, even got little certificate to prove it.
2) Dropped a note to a woman in ME who had a small collection of Randall Cattle for sale. (My newest fascination - triple use New England heritage cows!)
First weekend in May I'm going to a livestock sale in Springfield if anyone wants to go with me.
3) If anyone's interested, the NorthEast Livestock Expo is the weekend of May 15-17, info at: www.northeastlivestockexpo.org
I can't make it - I'll be working with HorseChaser at a dog show that weekend. Which sucks, because they usually have a really nice feeder calf sale.
4) Home pressed apple cider, put in a sterilized mason jar and tucked into the back of the fridge for 6 months, decanted, is surprisingly tasty.
I had forgotten it in there, and it looked clear enough when I pulled it out of the fridge - had to puncture the mason lid to relieve the pressure to get the lid off. Watched as the silt at the bottom of the jar "woke up" and the thing carbonated it's self. Was honestly fascinating. The local apple flavor really came through, with a tangy kick of alcohol. Can only imagine that some local wild yeasties hitched a ride into the drink off the skins.
Should try this again next year, but on purpose next time.
5) Rescheduled eye exam for next wednesday.
Yay, healthy eyeballs.

7) Got Pheasant/Duck/Hog Guy's contact info - we will be in touch, and he'll let me know what he's got sale-able product.
8) (with hand over ears and giving wide birth to hotlinks) LALALA INTERNET JESUS I'M NOT LISTING TO YOU - WHATEVER THAT IS IT'S NOT BEST IN LIFE.
9) Feeling very snuffly and under the weather. might have something to do with the crazy running around I've been doing. I could really, really go for a nap.
10) Happy Post/Pre Birthday to the Consort, about whose chronological age I merrily choose to disbelieve.
