I'll admit - I'm one of Mr. Ellis's devoted interwebs disciples. But I'm also a reader who's been reading for a very long time (relatively speaking.) I know a piece of shit when I read it. The name on the cover usually dosen't sway my opinion on how well a book is written. That said, this book is a wonderful, brutal, perverted pile of shit. )

Watching the rerun of the Shrub's address to the Republican's convention...
Usually the man looks strangely built to me, but in this address, he looks like he's about to burst into tears.

The nonsensical crap that's spewing from his mouth is making my ears buzz, but I am amused that the Leader of the Known World looks like he's about to weep on national television...

Oh, oh... now I get to listen to an actor schpeal forth his opinion. I liked you more on Law and Order, Fred -You had better writers.

It's interesting to watch the Palin fiasco unfold... I wonder how long before the backlash. Right now I hear a lot of "Fat lot of good her abstinence program did," and "if she can't lead her own family, how's she supposed to lead a country" but I wonder...

Crazy things loose afoot in our country these days.
I smell frightening times ahead, no matter which ways the cards fall.

EDIT - And I find this even more Interesting... from a friend of a friend:
