I'm scheduled for 6 1/2 day InDesign trainings at the end of June.
1/2 days, so we can "keep up" with the already insane job load.
This ought to be funny.
Mr. dog is surviving without much outside contact. He's at home trying to extrude himself through the floorboards into the basement.
The raid on Fortress Ikea was successful - Have a new Poang chair for the living room (no more camp chair! yay!) microwave cart for the kitchen, and a little chest of drawers for my art supplies in the other room. Along with a whole slew of other little crap. Oh, and curtains and rods. and a magnetic knife bar. and a new kibble storage tub that doubles as a riser for Mr. Dog's food dish.
Hot. They turned the AC off at work over the weekend and couldn't get it started in our section again this morning. I think it's finally starting to make a difference now.
Watched "Finding Neverland". Depp + Scottish accent = hawt. Story was sweet, wasn't in the right head space for certain plotlines. Liked the blend of visuals.
Watched "Benny & June". Again, sweet story. Just not in the right heads pace for "Boy toughs it out to get the emotionally fragile girl" stories. Just... No.
Have 2 disks of House on the way. That will put me back to snarky sarcastic rights.
Trying to be productive here this week. Keep your fingers crossed.
