Bored now.

I'm not complaining, mind you, just stateing the obvious. Most all my "Teammates" are in Mexico for a meeting, as I'm left to twiddle my thumbs and push paperwork until they come back and all hell breaks loose, and I think back fondly to the days of thumb-twiddling and wonder how much more I could have gotten done if I'd been able to pace out my projects, rather than shotgunning them through, last second style.

Which brings me to my next thought. On my next business cards, I want my title to be "Triage Designer." Not as nice as "Intergalactic Warlord" as I had requested at the Place of Alcohol, but unsuspecting purchiseing people might not notice.
Because, in essance, that is what I get paid to do here. Hang around, wait for something to explode, acertain the damage, prioritize what needs tending first, and what can be left to die, design, wrap it all up in a neat little bow, and hang around and wait for it to happen again.

In the down time, I've gotten a lot of other stuff done.
Like:
1) I've made an appointment for friday to get the first of the 3 immunizations against HPV. (11:30 am)

2) I've made an appointment to go to the dentist next friday morning. (8:45 am)

3) I've called and straightened out my perscription mix-up.

4) I called and put the car people in touch with my insurance people.

5) I've called the car people twice now, about when to expect the beast, and they haven't returned my call. (Tres Irritating.)**

6) I made a donation to Wayde at the German Shepherd Rescue New England (www.gsrne.org) in the name of BruNO.

7) I sent along updated information and pictures to the guy who keeps track of my family. Yes, like all of them. See www.gwozdz.org if you're that curious. At 168 pages, it reads like a textbook.

I have a post brewing about ghosts, but it hasn't collected fully in my brain yet. Maybe soon though.

Hope everyone happy and healthy.

** Finally got ahold of Car Guy. The new steed will not be here this week like I was told, it will be here between the 12-16th, next week.
Also, they are "not allowed" to discuss numbers or financing until the car is on the lot, (right beyond your fingertips, where it's easier to just pay them a little more than you want to than leave without the car.) I'm of the opinion that this is a cubic yard of horse shit, and I'm actively calling around to other dealers to see if anyone has what I want on the lot now, or who can give me a flat price.
That price better not be above Kelly Blue Book either, Bucko, because while they've been stalling, I've been doing my homework.
