Photo Montage to Follow...
Apr. 14th, 2006 11:41 pmHell yea, we need a montage!
So, I had an inter-woo today.
I do not call it an interview, because there was very little viewing involved.
In the course of today, I -
Woke up at 5:55. Yes, AM.
Woke up again at 6:15. Damn 20 minute snooze bar of doom.
Was in my car by 6:50.
Was at Alewife by 7:20.
Was sitting in front of the building I had the inter-woo at (11 Beacon Street) by 7:55.
Did I mention that the inter-woo wasn't until 9:15?
Yea.
So I went to the corner store and baught a disposable camera, sat down at a nearby bench and drew a pencil sketch of a nearby planter/pedistal.
Had the inter-woo. Made a new friend. Told them they weren't looking for a graphic designer, they were looking for a traffic-er who happened to know Power Point.
They agreed adimently after only seeing the first three pieces of my portfolio.
Left inter-woo by 9:50.
Took picture of bench.
Took picture of building.
Walked down and took a picture of the North End sign.
Discovered Mike's Pastry only takes cash. fuckers.
Took picture of Boston Harbor.*
Played with lady's bigh black lab.
Walked back to train. Took picture of Boston Common/Statehouse.
Got on train.
Took picture of Purple Cow, nestled in among the commuters.
Took picture of Train station.
Took picture of Rt2/Rt 128
Drove to Acton - Took picture of Acton.
Went to Idylewild - took picture of Idylewild.
Took picture of Rt2/Rt495
Took picture of Rt2/Rt190
Took pictures of Erving
Took a nap.
Took pictures of the French King Bridge.
Got lunch in Greenfield. Did not take a picture of Burger King.
Took pictures of Shelborne Falls/Bridge of Flowers.
Took pictures of Mt. Greylock*
Took picture of home.
Took picture of BruNO.
*I went from the absolute lowest part of the state to within spitting distance of the highest. Allt he way clear across the state. Cow has many more "experience" miles now.
I just have to get the film developed.
Now I'm home, and I'm exhausted.
I'm very much looking forward to SLEEP.
blessed, happy sleep...
