Honor and Ends

And though none of us really walked out of it, we walked out of it.
And now it's over. There is suddenly a great void in my calendar. This was the one game I looked forward to. I loved the party, I loved the campaign. But like all good stories, it had to end.
Three cheers, my Epic Friends. It's been a damn fine time. I'm proud to have done it with you.

The ball just kept rolling yesterday, right into Acton. A great party to welcome the fooseball table was had. And had. And had. Into the very wee hours of the morning. The Artist and Meta appeared, as well as Mr.C., among many people I hadn't seen in years. It was good to see Moose and crew again.
Passed out (not literally, but might as well have been) early, comparitively. Probably due to that whole really not having slept the night before. There were enough other people around who could comiserate though that it was good.
Woke up this morning, puttered while people were out, and then accompanied Bleys, Raoul, and Cheech to a meeting. A lot actually got done, and quite a bit was said, which is good. We'll see how things go.
I'm driving home tomorrow now, (as it was pushed back by the meeting.) Yay Artist-killing sweaters! And rumor has it there are a couple porterhouses waiting for dinner. ;)

Funny how art mirrors life.

I'm finding it hard to believe it's only 7pm. This year's daylight savings thing has thrown me more than I ever remember. Huh. There's that whole over-tired thing too.

Had a good conversation with a friend recently. About stuff, and how certian things ended, and why. I had never told anyone most of that. And I have a feeling I got a lot that hadn't ever really seen the light of day before either.
Odd. We find comrades in the most strange places. I would have never forseen this even a year ago. But we take it where we can find, it I guess.
