Well, Quite a weekend.
I'm pleased that I can still fall off the face of the earth, as evidenced by Sunday and today.
Friday - Went and hunted foam in the afternoon. Woot! Can't remember what I did that evening.
Saturday - Went to game. Kicked ass at game. Got ass kicked at game. Made three pies; one apple, two pumpkin. This bodes well for next sunday's pie.
Sunday - Lept out of bed and ran to the film festival meeting I was already late for. Was moderately productive. Hung out afterward with the Artist, and she and I read silly guy mags while the guys puttered about with the computers. One rant session later, I found myself, Bleys, and Raoul watching Porn and Chicken (which is a really nifty film on Comedy Central right now.) Bleys staggered off to bed and Raoul and I stayed up watching various silly movies, while drinking various silly types of alcohol, which in the end culminated in my abusing the Pimp hospitality and crashing on their couch.
Monday - nothing. I got nothing done and it feels great. Woke up and felt like ass. Not hung-over ass, just not well ass. So driving 5+ hours to home and back was right out. I hung out in Acton, because by noon, I really had nowhere to be, and watched more silly movies, sans silly alcohol. Ocean's Eleven is a very nice movie - slick and glossy. Huge cast, but they pull it off with style. Also watched Muppets in Space, with Rizzo and Gonzo commentary, Me, Myself, and Irene which is silly and wrong, and the first few fight scenes from Brotherhood of the Wolf. Went and snooped around Acton; nice little town, (must remember to give Thorge that phone number for that house we saw,) and managed to walk myself into a sign post while oggleing the local architecture. *sigh* At least I make an ass of myself with the best of them...
Got the links done. Left the 1680 so Ember can use them. Now it's just a matter of getting them to her.
Must figure out plans for coming weekend. Sent plot guy an email, but haven't heard back from him. *shrug* I'll just show up I guess, and try not to freeze. Lots of woolies for this weekend. Where's a bed warmer when I need one?
Now to bed, so I can get up and drive to Mohegein Sun for a theater lighting demo. Woot. Or something. At least the school is paying for gas, and at this rate, I'll be well versed in CT main roads.
