Dogs.
Fall.
Apple Pie.
Pie of Any Kind.
Quiet Companionship.
Chocolate.

And watching falling-down drunk freshman morons getting picked up by the city cops.
Brought a warm feeling to this jaded heart, I tell you.

I can now go to bed happy.

So I wake up.
This is a good thing.
Fall out of bed, stumble over to the alarm clock, smack it, stumble over to the computer, hit the on button, and fall back into bed for 15 minutes while my machines wait to turn on.
Fall back out of bed, turn off alarm, plunk self down in front computer. For gits and shiggles, I throw a curve into the morning ritual and pick up the phone and dial x3580, and listen.
(this is the "who's not here" line.)
Not being quite awake, I thought I heard H.O.S. So I redialed again with a slightly clearer head and again heard H.O.S.
So I dialed again just to hear it, and behold! My first three hour class is cancelled!
*sleepy happy dance*
Perhaps I'll go get something resembling breakfast...

I still have woodshop, which is good, because I don't want to get anymore behind. Tonight will be me in the lab getting a project done for tomorrow, and reviewing the first two chapters in the stupid book for a quiz.
The project is a business card, which I can come up with in my sleep right about now, and I think stationary is due tomorrow as well. (Ditto on the difficulty there.)

Ehh.. maybe I'll go over early now when I was supposed to have class and get it done.
Or not. We'll see. I'm not feeling all too inspired.

I lean in the doorway
Of my own subconcious
Eye cocked and cynical
Sarcastic, even here.

It hurt when you came to me by sleep
Comforting while masked in the shadow of dream.
Made even more bittersweet
Now that you have a face.

I got a phonecall.
From my mom.
It's a good thing she lives 2.5 hours away.

There's smudges on some of the pages of the yearbook.
That project I hate?
Yea, That one.
They need more pages reprinted.

If it wasn't my mother I was talking to, I would have told them right where to stick their happy little pages.
I still told her where they could stick their pages.
And then told her I'd try to get them done.

I knew it was too good to be true...

I want to bite something just to make it bleed...

*snarl*
