Hey all, just a note,

Saturday, November 2, at 8 pm, Natalie MacMaster will be playing at FSC.

"The legendary Cape Breton fiddler combines her unique blend of traditional Celtic sound and incredible musicianship with some popular arrangements and her now-famous "Dancing while fiddling." Natalie was the 2001 Grammy nominee for Best Traditional Folk Artist."

Tickets are $20 for the general public; $17 for FSC staff, seniors, alums, and groups; $5 for FSC students and under 18.
If enough people can back to me, I can arrange for the group rate.

Meeting Johannes and Hienrich, lovely 'smiths, and learning general principles of black smithing. Made a steak flipper and a boar flipping fork. Feeds into the Quote of the week story.

Got a sunburn of intergalatic preportions.

Worked for Baroness Meagan at the Limner's Guild. So I went on vacation and made money. You're suprised?

Purchised a great wooden sword for "Beheading the Barbarian". I'm willing to bet I won't be able to kill this one if I treat it right.

Purchised a nifty knife from Ragnar. Sharp as a razor and pretty to boot. Again, I'm willing to bet I can't kill it if I treat it right.

Got a bunch of t-shirts to replace old ones I don't like/wear anymore. Yay.

Relaxed. Increadably enough. I think the good natured banter combined with a feeling of security finally worked loose a few mental kinks... maybe.. we'll see.
