A few contemplations
Jun. 28th, 2002 08:09 amConsideration. Just about no one is considerate anymore. I try really hard to go of my way to be considerate, and I keep getting it handed back to me, usually in the form of someone else being such an inconsiderate boob I want to hit them repeatedly about the head and neck.
It doesn't take much. All you have to do is think a little bit, (herein lies the problem.) No one thinks. No one stops and says, "Hey, maybe I'll be that person trying to cross four lanes of traffic someday," or "hrmm, she's got to get up and go an hour before me every morning, and gets home little under an hour after me every night, so maybe I won't run games that will get us home at midnight."
I try to be nice, but then others are so inconsiderate, and they get all offended when I lose my temper. Well suck it up and deal, folks, because lately many aren't giving me much in the way of reason to go out of my way for you.
I'm tired, and I just woke up.
I've never been so moment-to-moment tired in my life. There are varing reasons. Part of it is work, part is the unrelenting tension, but part is that I'm tired of being considerate for bumbling morons who don't pull their heads out of their asses long enough to try to understand the what, where, why, and when of Me.
I'm grumpy.
It's hot out. I hate hot. I'll take a blizzard over a heat wave anyday. I'm also grumpy because I had asked people to help me out with a certian project for my younger brother for his birthday, and I got half hearted replies and not much in the way of help. His birthday is tomorrow, and I have nothing. Many people have family they hate, many people have family they use, and many are indifferent to theirs, but I love my family, and that includes trying to do cool things for a 14 year olds birthday. This doesn't so much piss me off because a certain individual let me dow, and it pisses me off because in the end, my brother gets let down.
Anywho, I'm taking the afternoon off to try to go get this project done myself.
