Mmmm... nummy.
May. 29th, 2002 01:23 pmLunch is.. was.. good. See LordBleys comments, as we both apparently had the same thing. *insert twilight zone music here* ;)
Ohh! May have picked up another freelance job. That will bring my freelanceing up to 1 pro-bono yearbook, 1 paid tutor-ship, and 1 paid business card. *does the happy dance*
Perhaps I will be able to get the shirt I've had my eye on. (To see the shirt I've had my eye on, see www.distantdrums.cc/GarmentsRegailia.htm, second style down.) I've talked to the folks there, and am looking a bit of custom work (not much though,) bringing the cost to about $200+/-. Wish they used something a little heavier than 2.5 oz. deerhide, but if I wanted elk (which I do, *but*,) it'd cost through the nose. And actually, the lighter deer might take paint better, now that I think about it, and be a little cooler in the summer...
Twiddleing at work, wondering what I'll make for dinner for folks. Think I'll just take SubBoss's advice and do a supermarket crawl and see what's on sale.
Must get home and dismantle Lucifer, (my computer,) before Cervantes gets home. It's currently taking up space on the gaming table.
Oh! and an update on my oak tree for all you wondering about it, well, ok, for Vo1are. It qualifies as a tree; it's got leaves! While I was home having my mouth mutilated, it broke through, and is now a healthy 4+" with two cute 'sprout' leaves, and two other little leaves that actually look like oak leaves! One question though, it grows to the light (ie, window.) I should be turning it, so it doesn't grow lopsided, right?
Well, back to the grind, and cake, yes, must go have cake...
