Believes military strength acts as the best deterrent to enemies, but also requires great restraint.

Immigration:
Opposes deportation of illegals currently in the country. Believes overhaul of the system needs to acknowledge illegals are a part of the economy.

Economy:
Believes spending is out of control. Supports more fiscal responsibility and a balanced budget.

Education:
Believes No Child Left Behind serves an important role in guiding states, but also believes states have to make final decisions on education policy. Supports charter schools.

Energy:
Supports offering incentives for companies which develop renewable energies.

Climate Change:
Believes there could be a human role in climate change. Says people should be good stewards to the enviornment regardless of the cause.

Health:
Supports health insurance premiums for healthy living.

Social Security:
Believes program is in serious trouble because of increased cost. Supports comprehensive look into the system to see what can be salvaged and what needs reform.
