Generations?
How long to you keep a promise made to a man on his death bed?
How long?

I'm off to explore the world of cattle today.
Perhaps I'm destined to become a cattle barron.
We shall see.

Depends. Had I made a promise to my maternal grandfather on his death bed, I would die before I broke it. But that is the bond we had. Your mileage may vary.

Do your homework, check into things and then decide. When it is time, it is time. Also remember my favorite motto "Opportunity never kncoks at an opportune time." You will know it when it clubs ya upside the head and it is all you can think about :)
However no illusions about getting rich....that is just part of the journey hopefully!
